Educate-Inform-Connect
Founded in 1950 as a nonpartisan, educational non-profit military service organization, our growing association strengthens the bond between Soldiers and the American people, promotes the military profession, and enhances ties with industry.
The AUSA Suncoast Chapter strengthens the Army Family across fifteen Florida counties through volunteer service, education, and community partnerships. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit within AUSA’s 3rd Region, we proudly support Soldiers, Veterans, and ROTC/JROTC programs throughout the region.
Founded in 1971, the Suncoast Chapter has supported Soldiers and families from Fort Myers to the Suwannee River for over five decades. From hosting the Army Birthday Ball to launching the Jenkins Military Leadership and Entrepreneurship Academy, our volunteers dedicate more than 5,000 hours each year to strengthen the Tampa Bay defense community.
We collaborate with key commands including USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, SOCCENT, JCSE, and the Florida National Guard, along with defense and veteran organizations like ESGR, SAME Tampa Bay Post, and the Tampa Bay Defense Alliance — working together to advance service and advocacy for the entire Army Family.
